About Jordan

Jordan began his academic career at the University of California Berkeley studying Mechanical Engineering. However, after much deliberation he left the university to pursue a field with a more direct and positive impact on people’s everyday lives. A few years later Jordan earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology from California State University Sacramento. He immediately applied for the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at California State University Sacramento and was one of 32 accepted into the program. He graduated and passed his first national licensure exam with a 4.0 GPA.

Accomplishments and Certifications:

In addition to his doctorate, Jordan is certified in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment, Functional Movement Screen, and Functional Mobilization 1.

He has also developed a successful physical rehabilitation phone app, Renegade Rehab, to help the average injured person for minimal cost. His app utilizes an algorithm based on clinical expertise and research to determine the best rehab approach for each user. The app then guides through each day’s rehab with videos and chat features on demand.

Jordan was also a former nationally registered EMT and ACSM certified personal trainer for many years.

Athletic History:

Jordan has spent over a decade competing in swimming, basketball, and soccer, respectively. He also has experience competing in baseball, cycling, cross country, and triathlons (sprint and olympic).

For the past decade Jordan has focused on CrossFit and qualified twice for individual Regionals. Besides spending hours meticulously training, he loves coaching the sport. From the seasoned veteran to the “it’s my first time”, he enjoys improving people’s fitness ability, confidence, and safety.

Treatment Cost and Expectations

Eldridge Physical Therapy accepts private pay only. This allows extended periods of more personalized care instead of catering to the requirements of insurance agencies.

For many, the ‘free’ insurance based therapy consists of a 15 minute physical therapist check up followed by time with an aide, not a therapist. This is so the therapist can start work with another patient and earn the company more money.

At Eldridge Physical Therapy, Jordan treats you, 1 on 1, the entire time. Whether you need 30, 60, or 90 minutes to fully diagnose and resolve your issue, the time can and will be taken. During sessions, the focus is on YOU, not meeting insurance requirements.
